Ngl, I cried again at the reunion. Man, it's soo long awaited and it's just too wholesome, I loved how close moroha was like sleeping on her dad's lap, and him carrying her on his back.

The way Towa and Kagome immediately get along despite meeting each other for the first time in 14 years shows their dynamics fits so well. I wouldn't mind seeing more about it. Also, the way Kagome defends that the twins take after Rin is everything 💞✨

Plus the way Kagome understands Sesshomaru's actions and Inuyasha being concerned about Sesshomaru without even hinting it is also ✨✨✨

RIN BEING THE QUEEN SHE IS! Just went and challenged the strongest demon in the East and Sesshomaru immediately get up to be by his wife side.

AND THE TWINS BEING WORRIED FOR THEIR PAPAMARU!!!! The expressions they had when they were about to talk about it immediately says it all. I am gonna put up a fight for those who still thinks the girls isn't concerned about their father's wellbeing.

Parent of the Century Award goes to Jaken. Watching over other people's kids, making sure trapped parents can see their daughter grow up. Though I was kinda hoping Inuyasha would recognize Moroha more by scent or a gut feeling.

I said it before and I'll say it again, Jaken is the real MVP of the series.

Yeah, I was kinda disappointed when they had to show the girls their supernatural version of a baby-cam. Especially since the dads are dog yokai and hanyo and it would make an even better addition in the given context to explain to the twins that parents have more preternatural ways of knowing/recognising their children, and Sesshomaru and Inuyasha even have specific senses for that. Even Moroha recognised her cousins by scent.
The youki makes more sense, since everyone but the human mothers has it to various extents but it still doesn't seem like it would've helped. Either way, it looked like the twins were asking exactly because they wanted to confirm that, in spite of his cold and blunt behaviour on the surface, Sesshomaru came to their rescue all those times, and even defended them with his own body from Kirinmaru's latest attack on them, because he acknowledged them as his children and cared for them in the regular paternal way.

I was wondering how this episode would surpass the one of last week... and I was not expecting what I saw today, everything was so damn good and I swear that Inuyasha hugging Moroha was the greatest thing ever as an Inuyasha fan! Words cannot describe how happy I am that this second season is saving what originally was almost a disaster.

And we finally got the big revelation that Kirinmaru has a god complex and wants to save the world from an extinction event, I was not expecting such twist and that makes the future world even more relevant now, does that mean the final battle will happen in modern day Japan? That would be so sick if its true, can't wait to see how the story goes from this point forward!

Still... there's one thing that I really didn't liked and it was the way Shippo got reintroduced... feels like he was a last minute addition to the series, and I do hope he gets some kind of relevant role in future episodes instead of being just another comedy relief.
